Under the concept of "reset", we've renovated the 4th floor of our office to provide employees a space to refresh and communicate. How people reset differ person to person. Some may prefer to chat with colleagues, while others may prefer to eat something nice, or simply exercise. To accommodate different needs, we've designed five zones with five themes: "communication", "eating", "relaxation", "exercise", and "focus". For example, "focus" area has private rooms, "relaxation" area has sofas, and "exercise" area has Ping-Pong tables and monkey bars. However, it's not just about the spatial design, providing opportunities for ideas and communication is also important. We display employees' recommended books for new topics of conversation. The monitors on the wall display trending words and company's key terms to prompt new ideas. We are constantly evolving, trying new methods and ideas, and try to implement what we've gained in our proposals to our clients.

Distiguishing work and relaxation space with lights

The general work space uses 4000K, but for this area, we chose 3000K, since we wanted the lights to make the environment more relaxing. Also, depending on the area, we change between 3000K and 3500K, and adjust the brightness. If it's a private room, we provided sufficient brightness to heighten concentration, and for sofa area, we used indirect lights for a cosy atmosphere. Our designer team requested to have Smart LEDZ for this space, so they can test first hand to get a better idea of how they can propose to clients. Currently we change lighting scenes as necessary depending on the occasion, but moving forward, we plan to make it adjustable to each individual user needs. Office space is shared with many, but it would be wonderful if everyone can select the light they want.
