Technical center “LED Central Research” is the product development location with planning/development, production, and quality assurance units gathered in one place, aiming for accelerated developments by sharing information among related departments. In addition to world-class light distribution measuring device, it’s equipped with various quality management testing facilities, greatly shortening the time required for planning, design, inspection, and evaluation. The center is always developing high quality products speedily.

Various Tests Complying with Domestic/International Standards

Quality assurance unit has been certified as a JNLA tester.

JNLA stands for Japan National Laboratory Accreditation system, a registration system for testing laboratories based on Industrial Standardization Act (JIS Act). This registration system verifies and registers testing laboratories by evaluating if they conform to the standards specified in requirements for testing laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025) regulated by International Organization for Standardization and International Electrotechnical Commission. ENDO Lighting’s quality assurance department has been registered by the registration system for testing laboratories based on Industrial Standardization Act (JNLA). It’s always aiming to improve the product quality with the objectives of transparency/fairness/equality, by conducting various tests over LED lighting products in light flux, light distribution characteristics, efficiencies, etc.

We conduct highly accurate measurement of luminous flux and spectral distribution, and evaluation of color temperature and color rendering properties.

Long-Lasting and Highly Durable Products

Heat dissipation design for a long life.

We measure the effect of temperature rises on all components in order to develop long life, highly efficient and compact lighting fixtures. We are equipped with a test chamber for thermal analysis to meet the overseas standard of a 25°C and the Japanese standard of a 30°C temperature rise.

We conduct numerous performance evaluations to assess the safety of our lighting fixtures in a variety of environments, including evaluations of outdoor durability and weather resistance, earthquake resistance, water resistance and dust protection.
