The lighting design pays homage to the sun setting over the horizon.The indirect light looks as if the light is softly oozing out of the ground. Not only does it help illuminate steps and pathways, it also manages to not disturb the view of Setouchi's beatiful, star-lit sky. Indirect lights are also used inside the tents to bring depth to space, offering surreal experience along side with the magical, natural light of Naoshima.
